ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14
AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
KYNASTON AVENUE, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Kynaston Avenue, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Kynaston Avenue will be closed between its junctions with Pitt Road and Bert Road.
3. During the closure traffic will be diverted via Pitt Road, Pawsons Road, Queens Road, and vice versa, or via Bensham Lane, Ecclesbourne Road, Kynaston Road, and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 31 October 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or Civil Enforcement Officer.
6. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

PURLEY DOWNS ROAD, PURLEY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate underground cable works by UKPN, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Purley Downs Road, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Purley Downs Road will be closed at its junction with Court Hill, outside No. 120 Purley Downs Road.
b) The southern (even-numbered side) footway will be closed to pedestrians outside No. 120 Purley Downs Road.
3. During the closure, vehicular traffic will be diverted as detailed below. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
• Purley Downs Road, North Down, Shaw Crescent, Court Hill, and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work,
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies,
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gully investigation and repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Edith Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Edith Road will be closed at its junction with Selhurst Road.
3. During the closure, the diversion route for traffic will be via Dagnall Park, Selhurst Road and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 01 November 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
ABERDEEN ROAD & SOUTHBRIDGE ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main decommissioning works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Aberdeen Road and Southbridge Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) Aberdeen Road will be closed at its junction with Southend from 27 October to 02 November 2025.
(b) The southern footway of Aberdeen Road will be closed between its junction with Southend and the eastern boundary of No. 79 Southend from 27 October to 02 November 2025.
(c) Parking will be suspended and temporary waiting and loading restrictions operating at any time will be introduced in Aberdeen Road on both sides of the road, between its junction with Southend and the eastern boundary of No. 79 Southend from 27 October to 02 November 2025.
(d) Southbridge Road will be closed at its junction with Southend from 03 November to 23 November 2025.
3. During the closures, the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure in Aberdeen Road will be directed to a walkway in the carriageway.
Aberdeen Road closure:
• Via Southend, High Street, Fell Road, Gyratory, Park Lane, and St. Peter’s Road
• Via Southend, Selsdon Road, and St. Peter’s Road
• Via Aberdeen Road, St. Peter’s Road, Coombe Road, and Southend
Southbridge Road closure:
• Via Southend, Lower Coombe Street, and Southbridge Road and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 23 November 2025 as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work,
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies,
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main connection works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Heathhurst Road, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Heathhurst Road will be closed between its junction with Brambledown Road and the south-western boundary of No. 18 Brambledown Road.
3. During the closure, traffic will be diverted as detailed below, and vice versa:
• Via Mayfield Road, Essenden Road, Beechwood Road, and vice versa
• Via Mayfield Road, Sandesread Road, Beechwood Road, and vice versa
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 02 November 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

SUSSEX ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed bridge inspection of rail bridge SCU1/494, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sussex Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Sussex Road will be closed between its junctions with Moreton Road and the north to south arm of Sussex Road.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below,
• Westbound – via Sussex Road, Selsdon Road, Croham Road, and Dornton Road.
• Eastbound – via Moreton Road, Croham Road and Selsdon Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 11 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed overnight from 10pm to 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work,
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies,
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Woodside Green (fronting property Nos. 59 to 97) will be closed at its junction with Birchanger Road.
