Queens Road (D3604) Knaphill Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 24 October 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Queens Road (D3604) Knaphill Woking as extends from its junction with Broadway (D3603) to its junction with St Denys Close (X3604); and (b) suspend “The Surrey County Council Queens Road (D3604) Knaphill Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it relates to the length of road in (a).Alternative route – Broadway, High Street and Lower Guildford Road, or this route in reverse.This Order is required to enable Circet UK Ltd to facilitate blockage clearing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 November 2025 for 4 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Oyster Lane (D3760) Byfleet
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 24 October 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Oyster Lane (D3760) Byfleet as extends from the southern boundary of the property known as “79 Oyster Lane” to the northern boundary of the property known as “81 Oyster Lane”.Alternative route – Oyster Lane (A318), Chertsey Road, Dawson Road and Oyster Lane.This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate cable repairs and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 10 November 2025 for 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
D3708 White Rose Lane and D3709 Heathside Road, Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 29 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate improvement works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 3 November 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Alternative Routes:- Northbound on White Rose Lane – Old Woking Road, Maybury Hill, Oriental Road, Heathside Crescent and Station Approach; Southbound on White Rose Lane – Oriental Road, Maybury Hill and Old Woking Road; Westbound on Heathside Road – Pembroke Road, Oriental Road, Heathside Crescent and Station Approach; Eastbound on Heathside Road – Guildford Road, Victoria Road, Oriental Road, Maybury Hill and Pembroke Road.Schedule1. that length of D3709 Heathside Road, Woking which extends from its junction with White Rose Lane to a point (a) 60m east of its junction with White Rose Lane; and (b) 60m west of its junction with White Rose Lane;2. that length of D3708 White Rose Lane, Woking which extends from its junction with Old Woking Road westwards and then northwards to a point 60m north of its junction with Heathside Road.
D3621 Barley Mow Lane, Knaphill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 29 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D3621 Barley Mow Lane, Knaphill. This Traffic Order is required to enable Circet UK Limited to carry out utility works, including blockage clearing and/or ducting and/or cabling and/or repair and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 November 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, businesses, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Alternative route:- Anchor Hill, Knaphill High Street and Chobham Road.
C143 Maybury Road, Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C143 Maybury Road, Woking which extends from its junction with Monument Road to its junction with Stanley Road. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 November 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Alternative Route – C144 Monument Road, A245 Six Crossroads Roundabout, A320 Chertsey Road, C143 Chertsey Road and C143 Stanley Road.
C141 St Johns Hill Road, Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C141 St Johns Hill Road, Woking that extends from its junction with D3618 Firbank Drive, to its junction with C141 Hook Heath Avenue. This Traffic Order is required by Network Rail to enable inspections and/or repair and/or maintenance works to the “St Johns Hill Road Footbridge”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 10pm and 6am within 4 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 November 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times by means of a pedestrian walkway. No sole access to property will be affected. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses will be maintained to the point of closure via the alternative route:- St Johns Hill Road – Hook Heath Avenue – Triggs Lane – St Johns Road – St Johns Hill Road.
