Jane Corrie Head of Roads - Ayrshire Roads Alliance Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock KA1 1DD Email: enquiries@ayrshireroadsalliance.org For more information visit: www.tellmescotland.gov.uk EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock- Town Centre) (Temporary Road Closure, Suspension of Restrictions and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025 On 28 October 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to to maintain road safety during the holding of this years Remembrance Sunday Ceremony. Road Closure - Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, from the junction of Elmbank Drive to the edge of London Road and the front of the Dick Institute. No Waiting At Any Time - Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, from the junction of Elmbank Drive to the edge of London Road and the front of the Dick Institute. The Order commences on 08 November 2025 at 17.00 until 09 November at 13.00 The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period. EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (New Street, Dalmellington) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 On 28 October 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow Scottish Water Works. Temporary Road Closure - New Street, Dalmellington, From No.1 to No.12 The Order commences on 11 November 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 11 November 2025 at 09:00 with the closure remaining in place until 30 November 2025 at 16:00. The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians' out-with the working zone will be maintained. An alternative route N/A. EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Various Roads, Kilmarnock - Town Centre) (Christmas Shopping Event) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2025 On 28 October 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Christmas Shopping Event. Temporary Road Closures - Various Roads, Kilmarnock - Town Centre. Bank Street - Full extents, College Wynd - Full extents, Low Church Lane Full extents, Bank Place - Full extents, Nelson Street - Full extents, St Marnock Place - Full extents. The Order commences on 06 November 2025 . The event is expected to commence from 06 November 2025 at 18:00 with the closure remaining in place until 06 November 2025 at 20:00. The Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected. An alternative route will be signed via Sandbed Street - St Marnock Street John Finnie Street - John Dickie Street . SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (High Street, Newmarket Street, Ayr - Town Centre) (Christmas Event) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting & Loading at Any Time ) Order 2025 On 23 October 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Ayr Christmas Event. Road Closure - High Street, Newmarket Street, Ayr High Street - From junction Alloway Street for the Full Length to New Bridge Street .Newmarket Street - From Junction of Sandgate to High Street No Waiting At Any Time - High Street, Newmarket Street, Ayr High Street - From junction Alloway Street for the Full Length to New Bridge Street both sides of carriageway. Newmarket Street - From Junction of Sandgate to High Street both sides of carriageway. The Order commences on 16 November 2025. The event is expected to commence from 16 November 2025 at 00:01 until 16 November 2025 at 22:00. The days and times of the event may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected. An alternative route for Burns Statue Square - Station Bridge - Station Road - John Street - King Street - Main Street. A partnership between East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council.
