Sandy Lane And Oakwood, Church Crookham - No Waiting at Any Time restrictions
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effects of the Order: Will be to: (i) implement ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions as described below: Road Side Length Oakwood Both Between a point 5 metres north of its junction with Sandy Lane and a point 10 metres further north. Sandy Lane South Between a point 33 metres west of its junction with Oakwood and a point 66 metres further west. Between a point 9 metres east of its junction with Oakwood and a point 8 metres further east. North Between its junction with Oakwood and a point 11 metres east of that point. Between a point 34 metres west of its junction Oakwood and a point 12 metres further west. (ii) implement a ‘No Waiting Mon-Fri excluding Bank Holidays 8.15am – 9am and 2.30pm – 3.30pm’ on the north side of Sandy Lane between a point 46 metres west of its junction with Oakwood and a point 55 metres further west.

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or email public.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference: A2124/KK, by Friday 21st November 2025. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Various Roads, Hart) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2025 (Variation No. 1) Order 2025.”
