NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Codicote 15, heading west from St Albans Road to Heath Road, for an approximate distance of 730m.
Alternative route: via St Albans Road, Heath Lane and Codicote 16
The purpose of the Order is to enable construction works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 24 October 2025 for up to 4 weeks, when signs are in place.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horse riders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Restricted ByWay Hitchin 003, heading south and east from Friday Furlong, for an approximate distance of 320m.
Alternative route: via Friday Furlong
The purpose of the Order is to enable construction works to take place.
The section of Restricted ByWay will be closed on or after 27 October 2025 for up to 9 weeks, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN STEVENAGE DURING THE ‘STEVENAGE FIREWORKS DISPLAY’) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the westbound carriageway of Six Hills Way into the access road leading to the ‘Sailing Centre’, Stevenage, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via Six Hills Way, the Monkswood Way roundabout and Six Hills Way.
2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Valley Way into Six Hills Way, Stevenage, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via Six Hills Way, the Monkswood Way roundabout and Six Hills Way.
3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the eastbound carriageway of Six Hills Way into the southern field of ‘Fairland Lakes’, Stevenage, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via Six Hills Way, the Shephall Way roundabout and Six Hills Way.
The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the ‘Stevenage Fireworks Display’.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 November 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times dictated by signs on or near the Roads.

1. that length of East Close, Hitchin from its junction with Highover Way south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. the road leading to Nos.344-377 Jessop Road, Stevenage from its junction with Jessop Road eastwards, northwards and southwards for its entire length.

6. that length of Godfrey Close, Stevenage from its junction with Unwin Road south westwards for its entire length.

1. that length of Grove Road, Hitchin from its junction with Stormont Road north westwards to its junction with Bury Mead Road, a distance of approximately 79m.
An alternative route will be via Grove Road, A505 (Nightingale Road/Bunyan Road/Fishponds Road), A600 Bedford Road, Bearton Road, Old Hale Way, The Mead and Bury Mead Road.
2. that length of Stormont Road, Hitchin from its junction with Grove Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
An alternative route will be via Grove Road, A505 Fishponds Road, A600 Bedford Road, Bearton Road, Old Hale Way and Strathmore Avenue.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 November 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ickleford Road, Hitchin from its junction with Dukes Lane south eastwards to its junction with College Road, a distance of approximately 98m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Ickleford Road, Periwinkle Road, Water Lane, Grove Road, A505 Nightingale Road and Ickleford Road.
The Order is needed because replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 November 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Hitchin Road/Ingleside Drive roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with B197 North Road, a distance of approximately 479m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A602 Hitchin Road and B197 (Graveley Road/North Road)
or via B197 North Road and A602 (High Street/James Way/Lytton Way/Hitchin Road).
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
