TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS
(VARIOUS TOWNS AND PARISHES) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for surface dressing related works.
The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing from 1st November 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. Some roads will be closed overnight and others during the day. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 1st January 2026, or until the said works have been complete.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C11 HIGH STREET
(WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended) to temporarily close part of the C11 High Street from its junction with New Road to outside of the property known as ‘The Factory’ for a distance of approximately 80 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Wales & West Utilities.
The said road is expected to be closed from 17th November 2025 to 20th November 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION B4228 FROM JUNCTION WITH MISS GRACE LANE TO BOUGHCLIFF HOUSE
(TIDENHAM PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended) to temporarily reduce the speed limit as stated on the length of the road as described in the Schedule set out below.

The reason for the above said speed restriction is for pole replacement works by Openreach.
The said road is expected to be restricted, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 on 18th November 2025, as detailed in the above Schedule, or until the said works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION 400070 ROAD FROM JUNCTION AT ALL SAINTS TO JUNCTION WITH A4136
(STAUNTON (COLEFORD) PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
PLEASE NOTE THIS NOTICE IS MADE IN ADDITION TO THE NOTICE ISSUED 23rd JULY 2025
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 400070 Road from the junction at All Saints to the junction with the A4136 Road, from outside the property known as ‘Church Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the said closure and restriction is for works involving excavations and resurfacing.
The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 3rd November 2025 until 4th November 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
There will be no stopping, waiting, loading or unloading permitted throughout the duration of the works.
