LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton on 20 October 2025 made the following Order: The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.27) Order 2025 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

  2. The general effect of the Order would be to:- (a) extend waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' (double yellow lines) in:- (i) Dalmeny Road, Worcester Park adjacent to No. 138 Oaks Avenue (ii) Kingsmead Avenue outside Nos. 86 to 88 (b) introduce waiting restrictions operating (single yellow lines) to operate Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm in Dalmeny Road, Worcester Park outside Nos 1, 4 to 8, 11 and adjacent No. 167 Cheam Common Road and adjacent No. 81 and 88 Kingsmead Avenue

  3. A copy of the Order that will come into force on 27 October 2025, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.

  4. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984; or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
