Dilwyn Common Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Frame & Cover Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U93209, Dilwyn Common Road, Dilwyn, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93209, Dilwyn Common Road, Dilwyn, Common Road. Grid Ref: 342707/255411.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1091 From A4112 To Dilwyn onto Venmore Lane onto the A4110 onto the B4557 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to frame and cover works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th of November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
