What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council has made
the CITY OF SALFORD (HOPEFOLD DRIVE AND THE
REACH, WALKDEN) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE)
ORDER 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
the effect of which is to introduce-20MPH SPEED LIMIT:
Hopefold Drive, for its entire length. The Reach, for its
entire length. The Order was made on 21st October 2025
and will come into effect on 3rd November 2025. A copy of
Order and the plan are available for inspection at Swinton
Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to
Friday 9am to 6pm. Anyone wishing to question the validity
of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied
with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 21st
October 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
