DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MOOR LANE, BARROW-ON-TRENT
What is happening?
WHEN: 17 November 2025 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: Moor Lane, Barrow-on-Trent from its Jct. with
Deep Dale Lane for an approx. distance of 125m northeast.
REASON: To facilitate maintenance of telecommunications
assets.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Moor Lane, Lowes Lane, A5132
Barrow Lane / Swarkestone Road, Sinfin Lane and vice
versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably
possible, on the affected length of road. The road will
re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be
earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information
should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The
County Council intends to make an Order under Section
14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
to prohibit its use by traffic.
