Church Road - Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Traffic due to Crane Dismantling Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended)
CHURCH ROAD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate dismantling a tower crane and associated works in Church Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the south-eastern footway of Church Road, which lies between the south-western kerb-line of Neasden Lane and a point 160.00 metres south-west of that kerb-line; when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to above would apply from 9th November 2025 to 10th November 2025 and from 16th November 2025 to 17th November 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. from 9th November 2025 to 10th November 2025, with the following dates being backup dates.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Church Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
