Brent - Temporary Road Closures and Traffic Restrictions due to Water Connection Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)
BANISTER ROAD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a new water connection and associated works in Banister Road, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles proceeding in a general:–

(a) south-westerly direction on Banister Road upon reaching its junction with Kilburn Lane from proceeding further into Banister Road;

(b) south-easterly direction on Chamberlayne Road upon reaching its junction with Kilburn Lane from turning left into Kilburn Lane;

(c) north-westerly direction on Chamberlayne Road upon reaching its junction with Kilburn Lane from turning right into Kilburn Lane;

(d) north-westerly direction on Kings Holt Mews upon reaching its junction with Banister Road from turning left into Banister Road;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions and suspensions referred to in (a) to (d) above will apply between 3rd November 2025 and 11th November 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Banister Road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions and suspension referred to in (a) to (d) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
