Gloucesrtershire, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the said closure is for carriageway patching works.

The roads are expected to be closed from 31st October 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force.

Further advance warning of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure, as necessary. The Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 31st August 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4058 OLD TOWN (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4058 Old Town from outside of the property known as No. 25 Old Town to outside of the property known as No. 7 Old Town for a distance of approximately 90 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs daily from 27th October 2025 to 30th October 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE A4135 ROAD AND FOOTWAY, WOODMANCOTE (DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4135 Woodmancote Road and Footway from approx. 125m north of its junction with The Avenue to approx. 51m north of its junction with Uley Road for a distance of approximately 74 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safety during pole replacement.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 30th October 2025 only or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Schedule

The reason for the said closure is for tree cutting works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 10th November 2025 to 12th November 2025 or until the works have been completed.
