Multiple Roads, Fareham - Temporary Road Closure due to bridge inspection

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:  Delme Roundabout between its junction with East Street and its junction with Cams Hill. A27 Porchester Road between its junction with Delme Roundabout and its junction with Cornaway Lane. Link From M27 to Delme Roundabout and Eastern Way between its junction with Delme Roundabout and continuing to a point 500 metres Northeast on Link from M27.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Eastern Way (A27), Wallington Way, Wickham Road, Hoad’s Hill, School Road, Droxford Road, Wickham Road, Midlington Road, South Hill, High Street, Garrison Hill, Warnford Road, Alton Road, Warnford Road, Alton Road, Petersfield Road, Winchester Road, Liphook and Petersfield By-Pass (A3), London Road, Portsmouth Road, London Road, Maurepas Way, London Road, Southampton Road, East Street, West Street, Porchester Road, Cams Hill.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 10th November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 22:00-06:00).  The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GTM & Xeiad to complete bridge inspection on behalf of network rail.
