Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2086 Rolvenden Road, Benenden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gas mains replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2086 Rolvenden Road, Benenden, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 28 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Pullington Cottages and Fold Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative routes for any through traffic are via:

B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden, TN12 8DB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden, on or after 18th November 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Bluebird House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Bodiam Road, Sandhurst Cross, TN18 5LW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bodiam Road, Sandhurst Cross, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Primroses. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Burnt House Lane, Langton Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Burnt House Lane, Langton Green, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Keepers Cottage, between the hours of 07:30 and 16:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Burnt House Lane, Farnham Lane, A264 Langton Road, The Green, Speldhurst Road, Langton Road, Burnt House Lane and vice versa.
Conghurst Lane, Hawkhurst, TN18 5DP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Conghurst Lane, Hawkhurst, on or after 4th November 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named The Larches. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Conghurst Lane, A268 Rye Road, A229 Highgate Hill, A229 Moor Hill, A229 The Moor, B2244 Hastings Road, Conghurst Lane and vice versa.
Etherington Hill, Speldhurst, TN3 0TS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Etherington Hill, Speldhurst, on or after 21st November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Small Brook Fields. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, Broomhill Road, Lower Green Road, Etherington Hill and vice versa.
Field Green & Sponden Lane, Sponden, TN18 5NP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Field Green & Sponden Lane, Sponden, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
Field Green will be closed in the vicinity of Field Green Oast. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Field Green Lane, Foxhole Lane, A268 Rye Road, A268 Megrims Hill, Sponden Lane and vice versa.
Sponden Lane will be closed from the junction with Field Green to in the vicinity of Field Green Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sponden Lane, A268 Megrims Hill, Sponden Lane and vice versa.
Friezley Lane, Sissinghurst (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow electricity substation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Friezley Lane, Sissinghurst, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with A262 Goudhurst Road, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Kings Toll Road, Pembury, TN12 7HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kings Toll Road, Pembury, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction with Romford Road and the junction with B2160 Maidstone Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2160 Maidstone Road, Bramble Reed Lane, Romford Road and vice versa.
Longfield Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Longfield Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 7th November 2025 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Lamberts Road, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Longfield Road, Dowding Way, Lamberts Road and vice versa.
Speldhurst Road, Langton Green, TN3 0JE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Speldhurst Road, Langton Green, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Little Stonewall, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Speldhurst Road, Langton Road, Penshurst Road, Poundsbridge, Poundsbridge Hill, Poundsbridge Lane, The Lane, B2188 Fordcombe Road, A264 Ashurst Road, A264 Langton Road, The Green and vice versa.
Spelmonden Road, Goudhurst, TN17 1HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing and tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spelmonden Road, Goudhurst, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Elphicks Cottages, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spelmonden Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A21 J A262/B2162 Roundabout, B2162 Horsmonden Road, B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Spelmonden Road and vice versa.
Staplehurst Road, Sinkhurst Green, TN17 2ED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Staplehurst Road, Sinkhurst Green, on or after 7th November 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Pillar Box Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Staplehurst Road, Headcorn Road, The Street, Cranbrook Road, Frittenden Road, Common Road, Frittenden Road, A229 The Common, A229 Camden Hill, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Cranbrook Road, Frittenden Road and vice versa.
Western Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2JQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow electrical ducting installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Western Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 6th November 2025 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with St James Road to the junction with Quarry Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Quarry Road, St James Road, Western Road and vice versa.
