ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 13 (Part) Parish of Middlewich
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 21st October 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 13 (part) which commences at OS grid reference SJ 6976 6703 and runs in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 152 metres to the junction with Croxton Lane at OS grid reference SJ 6962 6708
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while construction work takes place in the area.
An alternative route is available on site, via Canalside Way and the A530 Croxton Lane, or the nearby canal towpath.
