Kingsway, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL KINGSWAY, WROSE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of sewer works to be executed on or near Kingsway, Wrose has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Kingsway from its junction with Plumpton Walk to a point outside No. 24 Kingsway.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Kingsway (unaffected section), Westfield Lane, Wrose Road, Plumpton Walk and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 27th October 2025 and remain in force until 16:30 hours on the 31st October 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
