Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Chesterton, Kirtlington Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 3/11/2025

Coming into force: 10/11/2025

This Order is being introduced because of M40 overbridge expansion joint replacement works which are anticipated to take until 17/11/2025 to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Kirtlington Road between The Hale and the B430. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B430 Oxford Road, B4030, Vendee Drive, A4095 and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16464/RMF)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Bicester, Fringford Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 3/11/2025

Coming into force: 11/11/2025

This Order is being introduced because of works to replace the kerbs across the raised crossing which are anticipated to take until 27/11/2025 to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the southernmost length of Fringford Road at its junction with Southwold Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Skimmingdish Lane, Buckingham Road, Southwold Lane and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16159/RMF)
