Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A20 Gorse Hill, Farningham DA4 0JU (CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on part of A20 Gorse Hill, Farningham, on or after 4th November 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The cycle lane will be suspended from outside Paygate Cottage for 100m in a northerly direction.
B2026 Station Road, Edenbridge, TN8 6HR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a detailed examination of the railway bridge, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2026 Station Road, Edenbridge, on or after 19th November 2025 for up to 1 night between 22.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 20m either side of the bridge.
The alternative route is via B2026 Station Road/Mont St Aignan Way/High Street/Mill Hill, B2028 Marsh Green Road/Old Marsh Green Road/Moor Lane/Racecourse Road/Town Hill/Plaistow Street/Newchapel Road, A22 Eastbourne Road/Station Road/Eastbourne Road, A25 Oxted Road/Godstone Road/West Hill/East Hill/Westerham Road, B269 Kent Hatch Road/Main Road, B2026 Main Road and vice versa.
B2211 Sundridge Road, Dunton Green, TN14 6HB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of resurfacing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2211 Sundridge Road, Dunton Green, on or after 6th November 2025 for up to 1 night between 19.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Morants Court Farm and 23, Turvins Farm.
The alternative route is via A224 Morants Court Road, A224 London Road, A25 London Road, A25 London Road Roundabout, A25 The Square, A25 Worships Hill, A25 Westerham Road, A25 Main Road, B2211 Chevening Road, B2211 Ovenden Road and vice versa.
Billet Hill, Ash, TN15 7HB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a sewer connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Billet Hill, Ash, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Swan Farm House.
The alternative route is via The Street, South Ash Road, Ash Lane, A20 London Road, Forge Lane, Crowhurst Lane, Billet Hill and vice versa.
Blueberry Lane, Knockholt, TN14 7NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through
traffic on part of Blueberry Lane, Knockholt, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Blueberry Farm.
The alternative route is via Main Road, Pound Lane and vice versa.
Chipstead Park Close, Sevenoaks, TN13 2SL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of works to lay 100m of water main and transfer 15 services, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Chipstead Park Close, Sevenoaks, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 47 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Church Road, Sundridge, TN14 6DH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of works to clear blockages located on an existing duct, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Sundridge, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 10 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Faraday House to A25 Main Road.
The alternative route is via Church Road, Penn Lane, New Road, A25 Main Road and vice versa.
Church Road, Sundridge. TN14 6DD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Sundridge, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between St Marys Church Road and Greystone Park.
The alternative route is via Church Road, A25 Main Road, New Road and vice versa.
Hever Road, Hever TN8 7NP (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to impose a 40mph speed limit on part of Hever Road, Hever, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The 40mph speed limit applies in both directions between Lodgewood Cottages and Slaters Oast.
High Street, Otford, TN14 5PQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a craft market and Christmas fair, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Otford, on or after 22nd November 2025 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs.
The road will be closed between Duck Pond Roundabout and Otford Village Car Park.
The alternative route is via A225 Sevenoaks Road - A225 Otford Road - A25 Bradbourne Vale Road - A224 London Road - London Road - Pilgrims Way West - High Street and vice versa.
Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, TN15 7LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of works to connect to an existing SEW main, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, on or after 5th November 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside of The Goslings.
The alternative route is via Rosemary Lane, Chapmans Hill, Wrotham Road, Hodsoll Street and vice versa.
Lynden Way, Swanley, BR8 7DU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lynden Way, Swanley, on or after 21st November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Laburnum Avenue and Cherry Avenue.
The alternative route is via Laburnum Avenue, Lavender Hill, Rowan Road, Lynden Way and vice versa.
Rushmore Hill, Knockholt, TN14 7NW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the reconnection of an existing electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rushmore Hill, Knockholt, on or after 4th November 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 1 Hunters Walk.
The alternative route is via Main Road, Cudham Lane South, Cudham Lane North, A21 Sevenoaks Road, Rushmore Hill and vice versa.
Rye Lane, Otford, TN14 5JQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works to prevent further flooding to the highway, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rye Lane, Otford, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 17 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Pilgrims Way West to Willow Park.
The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way West, Telston Lane, Willow Park and vice versa.
Shacklands Road, Shoreham. TN14 7TY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of tree Works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shacklands Road, Shoreham, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 5 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed within 10 meters North East Of Shacklands Cottages to just under the M25.
The alternative route is via High Street, Filston Lane, Pilgrims Way West, Pilgrims Way Link Bridge, A224 Polhill/London Road, Badgers Mount Roundabout, Shacklands Road and vice versa.
Stone Street, Seal. TN15 0LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Street, Seal, on or after 20th November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Church Road and Old Post Office Cottages.
The alternative route is via Stone Street, Bitchet Green Road, Park Lane, Grove Road, Hall Hill and vice versa.
Three Gates Road, Fawkham. DA3 8HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of tree works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Three Gates Road, Fawkham, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at junction/crossroads with Gabriel Spring Road and Sun Hill.
The alternative route is via Speedgate Hill, Valley Road, Brands Hatch Road, Scratchers Lane, Three Gates Road and vice versa.
Twitton Lane, Otford, TN14 5JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Twitton Lane, Otford, on or after 5th November 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Twitton House.
The alternative route is via Twitton Lane, Filston Lane, Pilgrims Way West, London Road, A224 London Road, A224 Amherst Hill, A224 London Road, B2020 St Botolphs Road, A225 Dartford Road, A225 St Johns Hill, A225 Otford Road, A225 Sevenoaks Road, High Street, Pilgrims Way West, Twitton Lane and vice versa.
