Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

 

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

GRAVESHAM AREA

 

Alfred Road, Gravesend, DA11 7QB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Alfred Road, Gravesend, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Alfred House.

The alternative route is via Alfred Road, Mead Road, Cross Lane West and vice versa.

 

All Saints Road, Northfleet, DA11 8RY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of All Saints Road, Northfleet, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way Order will be suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed between numbers 90 and 92.

The alternative route is via All Saints Road, B261 Dover Road East/Old Road West, Pelham Road South, Perry Street and vice versa.

 

Bank Street, Bull Yard, Horn Yard & New Swan Yard, Gravesend, DA11 0BJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new development of flats, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Bank Street, Bull Yard, Horn Yard and New Swan Yard, Gravesend, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.

The roads will be closed for the entire length.

There are no alternative routes but access will be maintained at all times where possible and safe to do so.

 

Henley Street, Luddesdown, DA13 0XB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Henley Street, Luddesdown, on or after 3rd November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Glen Cottage, 6.

The alternative route is via Henley Street, Luddesdown Road, Cobhambury Road, The Street, Sole Street, Gold Street and vice versa.

 

Pear Tree Lane, Shorne, DA12 3JS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pear Tree Lane, Shorne, on or after 17th November 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Shorne Mead.

The alternative route is via Pear Tree Lane, The Ridgeway, Brewers Road, Halfpence Lane, Darnley Lodge Lane, Thong Lane, A226 Rochester Road/Gravesend Road and vice versa.
