What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PERTON ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Perton Road in both directions from its junction with Boundary Way and its junction with Stockbridge Close.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 5th November 2025, between the
hours of 09:00 and 16:00. The diversion route is: Perton Brook Vale, Wightwick
Bank, Perton Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate Virgin Media to make a new customer connection.
