What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -
SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)


(ST MARYCHURCH ROAD, COFFINSWELL)
ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 5/11/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 21/11/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: ST MARYCHURCH ROAD, COFFINSWELL. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ST MARYCHURCH ROAD, GREAT HILL ROAD, BARTON HILL ROAD, B3199, A3022, A380, PENN INN ROUNDABOUT, SHALDON ROAD, ST MARYCHURCH ROAD. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PRE SD PATCHING.

ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 25/10/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 31/10/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: INVERTEIGN DRIVE, TEIGNMOUTH.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via: BISHOPSTEIGNTON ROAD, MILL LANE, LOWER KINGSDOWN ROAD, KINGSWAY & VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: NEW SEWER CONNECTION.

ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 3/11/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 10/4/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on the sections of Affected Roads when temporary traffic signing is in place.
Roads affected: ASHBURTON ROAD, NEWTON ABBOT. THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.

No person shall proceed, or cause or permit any pedal cycle to proceed on the sections of affected roads
Roads affected: NEWTON ABBOT FOOTPATH 31, CYCLE TRACK FROM FORDE ROAD TO TEMPLERS ROAD, NEWTON ABBOT. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - QUAY ROAD, TEIGN ROAD, & VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: STEEL REPAIRS, TRACK RENEWAL & DECK REPLACEMENT REPAIRS TO THE RAILBRIDGE ON BEHALF OF NETWORK RAIL.
