What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Awsworth in the Broxtowe Borough: -
1. Proposed prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following length of road:
Middleton Street, Awsworth (north-east side)
 - From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Stamford Street in south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction.
Middleton Street, Awsworth (south-west side)
 - From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Stamford Street in south-easterly direction to a point 11 metres south-east of that junction. Stamford Street, Awsworth (both sides)
 - From a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Middleton Street in south-westerly direction to a point 10 metres south-west of that junction.

 b) Kimberley Library, Main Street, Kimberley, Nottingham NG16 2LY.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 25th November 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council's procedures at the appropriate time.
