What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Ruddington in the Borough of Rushcliffe: -
1. Vehicles will be Prohibited from Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road:-
VICARAGE LANE, RUDDINGTON
(the north side)
- From its junction with Church Street in a north-westerly direction for 23 metres (the north-east side)
- From a point 110 metres north-west of its junction with Church Street in a westerly direction for 19 metres
Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours: -
a) Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP
b) Ruddington Library, Church Street, Nottingham, NG11 6HD Or by visiting the County Council's Website (https://consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk)
Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 25th November 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council's procedures at the appropriate time.

The proposed restrictions are being introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking in the area.
