Coxhoe - Amendment to Parking and Waiting Restrictions

(COXHOE) (PARKING & WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2016
(AMENDMENT NO. 1)
ORDER 2025
The Council on 17/10/2025 made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 and 35 and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 “the Act”), as amended, the effect of which comes into operation on 30/10/2025 and will bring into force the following restrictions, No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on
a) Station Road, Coxhoe, from a point between the property boundary of Number 13 & 14 Station Road on the north-eastern side of the carriageway in a northerly direction around its junction with The Grove for a distance of 22 metres.
b) Station Road, Coxhoe, from a point between the property boundary of Numbers 13 & 14 Station Road on the north-western side of the carriageway in a northerly direction for a distance of 36 metres.
c) Station Road, Coxhoe, from a point 6 metres south of Number 12 Station Roads northern property boundary in a south-easterly then northeasterly direction around its junction with The Grove for a distance of 14 metres.
d) Station Road, Coxhoe, from a point 7 metres south of Number 2 Station Roads northern property boundary in a southerly then westerly direction around its junction with The Grove for a distance of 15 metres.
e) Station Road, Coxhoe, from a point 2.6 metres north of Number 3 Station Roads southern property boundary in a northerly then westerly direction around its junction with The Grove for a distance of 21 metres.
f) The Avenue, Coxhoe, from Number 1 The Avenues western property boundary in an easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
g) A177, Coxhoe, from its junction with the access road to East Pasture House in a westerly direction onto the bridge of the A1(M) over a total distance of 24 metres.
h) A177 Roundabout with Cornforth Lane, Coxhoe, on the western side of the south-western approach from its junction with the roundabout in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 22 metres.
i) A177 Roundabout with Cornforth Lane, Coxhoe, on the southern side of the south-western approach from its junction with the roundabout in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.
A copy of the Order and supporting documents can be seen via the Council website, and at Cornforth Library during normal opening hours. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by “the Act”, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 17/10/2025.
