(VARIOUS ROADS, BIRMINGHAM) (101125)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be:
(i) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding other than in a westerly direction along KINGSBURY ROAD, WALMLEY AND MINWORTH between a point approximately 400m east of its junction with Wiggins Hill Road and its junction with Cottage Lane.
(ii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along DORMINGTON ROAD, OSCOTT between its junction with Kettlehouse Road and its junction with Lambeth Road.
(iii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along WORCESTER LANE, SUTTON ROUGHLEY between its junction with Grange Lane and its junction with Harvest Fields Way.
(iv) to prohibit any vehicle from making a right turn from the north-east bound section of TYBURN ROAD, PYPE HAYES into Kingsbury Road.
(v) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along CHESTER ROAD, ERDINGTON between its junction with Sutton Road and its junction with Orphanage Road.
(vi) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along BAKERS LANE, SUTTON VESEY between its junction with Queslett Road East and its junction with Chester Road North.
The temporary Order is required to enable highway maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by this Order will be signposted and access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 10th November 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
