Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    * Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Harcourt Road for the entire length up to the junction with Broadway, Bexleyheath

    * No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Harcourt Road for the entire length up to the junction with Broadway, Bexleyheath

    * Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Porthkerry Avenue from the junction with Hook Lane to the junction with Merlin Road, Welling

    * No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Porthkerry Avenue from the junction with Hook Lane to the junction with Merlin Road, Welling

  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

    * Porthkerry Avenue diversions

    * Merlin Road North, Hook Lane and reverse

    * Dansington Road, Selwyn Crescent, Danson Crescent, Hook Lane and reverse

    * Access to Harcourt Road at all Times

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Dorchester Avenue, Bexley

Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    * Prohibition of traffic on Dorchester Avenue, Bexley, from the junction with Murchison Avenue, and the junction with Montpelier Avenue, Bexley

    * Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Dorchester Avenue, Bexley, from the junction with Murchison Avenue, and the junction with Montpelier Avenue, Bexley

  2. The Order will come into effect on 5 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

    Murchison Avenue, Dorchester Avenue and reverse.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Lower Station Road, Crayford – Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable essential works to maintain the gas network by JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    * Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Lower Station Road at the junction with Station Road, Crayford

  2. The Order will come into effect on 24 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

    * For traffic heading towards Crayford

    Station Road, 4th exit on Crayford Road roundabout, Station Road, Royston Road, Heathview Avenue, Lower Station Road

    * For traffic heading towards Dartford Heath

    Royston Road, Heathview Avenue, Lower Station Road and reverse

    * For traffic on Lower Station Road

    Heathview Avenue, Royston Road, Station Road

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Sidcup High Street, and Sidcup Hill, and associated roads in Sidcup

Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, are satisfied that the execution of these works will take longer than the standard 18 months length of the order and in exercise of powers conferred by section 15(2) of the same act, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvements works by a council contractor on behalf of The London Borough of Bexley the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic or a directional closure to vehicular traffic in Sidcup High Street from the junction of Station Road to Craybrooke Road, Sidcup

  • Prohibition of traffic or a directional closure to vehicular traffic in Sidcup Hill from Craybrooke Road to Rectory Lane, Sidcup

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Sidcup High Street full length both sides of the road.

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Sidcup Hill full length both sides of the road

  • There will be no egress or ingress at the junction of Sidcup High Street and Sidcup Hill at the following roads Hadlow Road, Hatherley Road, St. John Road, Craybrooke Road, Black Horse Road, and Church Road, Rectory Lane, Cross Road, Church Avenue, Etfeld Grove, Durham Road Briary Court, Lincoln Road, Sussex Road Knoll Road, Oxford Road Studley Court, Frimley Court, Eynswood Drive, Middleton Avenue, Caerleon Close, Sidcup Hill Gardens, Amberley Court, Wingate Road Sidcup, unless for emergency vehicles only.

The no-entry restriction will be removed, making the following roads two-way: Hadlow Road, St. John Road, Hatherley Road and Craybrooke Road, Sidcup

  1. The Order will come into effect on 23 October 2025 and is valid for an indefinite period. However, if the works are expected to be ongoing, this Order shall be revoked according to section 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    Traffic from Main Road, Station Road and Sidcup Hill

    Cray Road, A20, Chislehurst Road, Elm Road, and reverse

    Traffic from Elm Road

    Station Road, Hatherley Crescent, Alma Road, Station Road, and pick up diversion at High Street Sidcup, unless for emergency vehicles only.

4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  •  Prohibition of traffic on Dulverton Road, Eltham from the junction with Agaton Road to the junction with Brendon Road, Eltham

  • Prohibition of traffic on Agaton Road, Eltham from the junction with Brendon Road to the junction with Dulverton Road, Eltham

  • Prohibition of traffic on Ermington Road, Eltham on the junction with Agaton Road, Eltham

  • Prohibition of traffic on Brendon Road, Eltham at the junction with Agaton Road, Eltham

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition as set out in Schedule One of this Order.

    Restrictions to be removed when not required.

  1. The Order will come into effect on 27 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.

  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    • Agaton Road Closure: Brendon Road, Dulverton Road, and reverse

    • Dulverton Road Closure: Agaton Road, Brendon Road, and reverse

    • Ermington Road and Brendon Road:

      No access into Agaton Road use localised diversions.

  3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) for entire length of Stratton Road, Bexleyheath

  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) for entire length of Sheridan Road, Bexleyheath

  • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) for entire length of Sheridan Road, Bexleyheath

  1. The Order will come into effect on 27 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 weeks.

  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

  • Stratton Road DIVERSION ROUTE:

    Harlington Road, Woodlands Road, Avenue Road, Broadway, Sanford Road and reverse

  • Sheridan Road DIVERSION ROUTES:

    Glengall Road, Woodlands Road, Avenue Road

    Avenue Road, Broadway, Church Road, Woodlands Road, Glengall Road

  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
