What is happening?

(Bell Road, High Street & Tunbridge Lane, Bottisham)
(Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 202$
Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) proposes to 
make an Order under all relevant sections of the Road 
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling 
powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of 
Police the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at 
any time (install double yellow lines) on the following 
lengths of road in Bottisham:
Northeastern side of High St from outside No. 25, 
north-westwards to its junction with Tunbridge Ln, 
extending approx. 38m northwards along the eastern 
side of Tunbridge Ln. Northwestern side of Tunbridge 
Ln, from its junction with High St, for a distance of 
24.5m north-eastwards.
For administrative purposes the Order revokes and 
consolidates the effects of “The County of 
Cambridgeshire (Bell Road and High Street, Bottisham) 
(Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1990.”
The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads 
and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the 
Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, 
may be inspected at New Shire Hall, Alconbury Weald, 
Huntingdon, PE28 4YE, during normal office hours, or 
via our online consultation portal – please use the link 
https://consultation.appyway.com/east-cambridgeshire, 
and select the Order “PR1163 – CCC (Bell Road, High 
Street & Tunbridge Lane, Bottisham) (Prohibition of 
Waiting) Order 202-”.
All feedback, including objections stating the grounds 
on which they are made, must be sent in writing by the 
19th of November 2025. Please use the consultation 
portal linked above or write to the undersigned. 
Comments will be used as part of our consultation 
process and may be published, anonymised, in any
