Notice of Making of an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley in collaboration with Capagh Contractors on behalf of Thames Water the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, from the junction with Shakespeare Road to the junction with Jenton Avenue, Bexleyheath

• Prohibition of traffic on Bowford Avenue, Bexleyheath at the junction with Brampton Road, Bexleyheath for 30m

• Waiting restriction and loading prohibition from the junction with Shakespeare Road to the junction with Jenton Avenue, Bexleyheath

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Bowford Avenue, Bexleyheath for 30m at the junction with Brampton Road, Bexleyheath

2. The Order will come into effect on 25 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 14 days.

1. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Brampton Road, Long Lane, Pickford Lane, Avenue Road, Crook Log, Brampton Road, and reverse Bowford Avenue – pick up diversion at Pickford Lane

3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Beechcroft Avenue, Bexleyheath – Notice of Making an Orde

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement work, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Beechcroft Avenue, Bexleyheath from the junction with Fairford Avenue to outside and opposite 86 and 99 Beechcroft Avenue

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Beechcroft Avenue from the junction with Fairford Avenue to outside and opposite 86 and 99 Beechcroft Avenue

2. The Order will come into effect on 25 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.

1. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Eastbound Traffic – Fairford Avenue, Castleton Avenue, Eversley Avenue, Beechcroft Avenue, and vice versa.

Westbound Traffic – Fairford Avenue, Appledore Avenue, Eversley Avenue, Beechcroft Avenue, and vice versa.

3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works

4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Erith Road, Bexley Road, South Road, Queens Road, and Northend Road, Erith/Bexleyheath – Notice of Intentio

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, are satisfied that the execution of these works will take longer than the standard 18 months length of the order and in exercise of powers conferred by section 15(2) of the same act, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway maintenance works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) on the various roads mentioned in the schedule of this order.

• No waiting/no loading (Parking Restrictions) in the various roads mentioned in the schedule of this order.

• No egress or ingress in any side road adjacent to any road listed in schedule one of this order.

2. The Order will come into effect on 3 November 2025 and is valid for an indefinite period. However, the works are expected to be ongoing, this Order shall be revoked according to section 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available,

• via Erith Road, Watling Street, London Road, Crayford High Street, Perry Street, Northend Road, South Road, Queens Road, Bexley Road

• Bexley Road, Queens Road, South Road, Northend Road, Perry Street, Crayford High Street, Crayford Road, Roman Way, London Road, Watling Street, Erith Road.

• Any localised diversion will be implemented as works progress.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Rochester Drive, Bexley – Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable the M Group on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Mains Water Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Rochester Drive, Bexley – entire road

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition – entire road.

2. The Order will come into effect on 27 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 127 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

Midhurst Hill, Latham Road, Gravel Hill, and reverse

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable gas mains replacement by Forefront on behalf of Southern Gas Networks the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Salmon Road at the junction with Brook Street, Erith as and when required.

Access to be maintained

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Salmon Road at the junction with Roberts Road, Erith

• No waiting/no loading (Parking Restrictions) both sides of the carriageway over the entire length of Salmon Road.

2. The Order will come into effect on 24 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

• Brook Street, Roberts Road and reverse

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

2. The Order will come into effect on 27 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Burnt Oak Lane at the junction with Days Lane, Sidcup

• No waiting/no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Burnt Oak Lane at the junction with Days Lane, Sidcup

2. The Order will come into effect on 31 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

• Burnt Oak Lane, Wellington Avenue, Blackfen Road and reverse

• Burnt Oak Lane, The Oval, Willersley Avenue, Oaklands Avenue, Days Lane and reverse

• No access onto Days Lane 

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
