*The Haringey (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. **) Order 202

T27

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and under section 90a and 90c of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 to amend an existing raised speed table on Church Lane N17.

The general effect of the Orders would be:-

  1. To replace 6.6 metres of no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions with a disabled parking bay on the west side of Church Lane N17, from a point approximately 4.6 metres north from the northern kerb line of the Bruce Castle Museum access road, heading north.

  2. To revoke both sections of permit holders only parking on Church Lane N17 between the junction with All Hallows Road and the Bruce Castle Museum access road. This is required to facilitate new parking arrangements as detailed below.

  3. To install a 12 metre loading only bay operating Monday–Saturday 8am–6pm on the west side of Church Lane N17, from a point approximately 14.2 metres north from the northern kerb line of the Bruce Castle Museum access road, heading north. To be separated with 3 metres of no waiting at any time restrictions either side of the loading bay. Revokes approximately 11.5 metres of no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions and 6.5 metres of permit holders only parking.

  4. To install 19.8 metres of disabled parking bays (3x bays) on the west side of Church Lane N17, starting from a point approximately 30 metres north from the northern kerb line of the Bruce Castle Museum access road, heading north. Revokes approximately 9.8 metres of permit holders only parking and 10 metres of no waiting at any time.

    1. To extend the no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions on the west side Church Lane N17 outside No.14 (Rising Stars Nursery) south by approximately 7 metres, replaces permit holders only parking.

    2. To make the following map-based changes to ensure the Council’s internal map based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):

      a. To relocate the existing doctors permit and permit holders only bays on Church Lane N17 by the junction with Lordship Lane south by approximately 3 metres. The adjacent single yellow line south of these bays will be extended to a length of 8.9 metres and the adjacent no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions north of these bays will be extended south by 2.7 metres.

The new loading bay and disabled parking bays detailed in items 1, 3 & 4 above will be located within a length of widened carriageway with removal of existing crossovers to facilitate the development. In addition, the existing speed table on Church Lane N17 (south of the Bruce Castle Museum car park access) will be reconstructed and moved approximately 5 metres northwards. The centre of the new speed table (flat-top road hump) will be located outside southern property boundary of No.14 (Rising Stars Nursery), with a total length of 4.4 metres (inclusive of ramps), width of 4 metres and maximum height of 75mm.
