Enfield, Temporary Road Closures Due To Utility & Railway Works

What is happening?

ENFIELD COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

CHURCH STREET N9 - 4618

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 25th October 2025 for 9 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road and suspend parking, from the westbound junction of A10 Great Cambridge Road to outside No.332 Church Street.

Whilst the road is closed local diversions will be in place.

TURKEY STREET, HERTFORD ROAD EN3 - 4619

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 25th October 2025 for 9 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to;

Turkey Street EN3

• close this road and suspend parking from its junction with Hertford Road EN3, for approximately 50 metres on both sides of the road; and

Hertford Road EN3

• close the northbound cycle lane at the junction with Turkey Street

Whilst the road is closed local diversions will be in place.

ORDNANCE ROAD EN3 - 4620

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Railway Works

Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 27th October 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road between its junctions with Bradley Road and Ferndale Road.

Whilst the road is closed local diversions will be in place.

RAYLEIGH WAY N14 - 4621

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 27th October 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road and suspend parking from its junction with Wynchgate for approximately 30 metres.

Whilst the road is closed local diversions will be in place.

TOTTENHALL ROAD, FAIRBROOK ROAD, PRINCES AVENUE, N13 - 4622

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 27th October 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to;

Tottenhall Road

• close this road and suspend parking from a point outside No.98 to the common boundary of No.96/94; and

Fairbrook Road

• suspend parking between Princes Road and Tottenhall Road on both sides of the carriageway.

Princes Avenue

• to suspend parking on the northside, from a point outside the common boundary of No.125/127 to the junction with Melville Gardens

Whilst the road is closed diversions will be in place.

CATTLEGATE ROAD EN2 – 4624

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times: 29th October 2025 between 21:00hrs and 05:00hrs for 1 day or until works are completed.

NOTE: This notice supersedes the notice of the same title published on 8?? October 2025 which contained typographical errors which have now been corrected.

The general effect of the Order will be to close Cattlegate Road, eastwards, between the entrance of Crews Hill Station and Culver Garden Centre, for approximately 50 metres.

Whilst the road is closed local diversions will be in place.
