SALFORD CITY COUNCIL REVOCATION OF: 'CITY OF SALFORD (A6042 TRINITY WAY, A6 CHAPEL STREET, IRWELL RIVERSIDE AND ORDSALL) (PROHIBTION OF LEFT TURN) ORDER 2021' TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section
14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The Order will temporarily revoke traffic regulation order:
City Of Salford (A6042 Trinity Way, A6 Chapel Street, Irwell
Riverside And Ordsall) (Prohibition Of Left Turn) Order
2021
o Prohibition of left turn on: From A6042 Trinity Way
southbound direction to A6 Chapel Street eastbound
direction.
The Order is necessary to allow access to New Bailey
Street, due to the right turn ban on Gore Street to New
Bailey Street. The order is due to come into operation on
Friday 7th November 2025 and will last for a period of 18
months or until the works are completed if earlier. The
works are expected to be completed by January 2026. A
copy of the Order and plans of the area may be requested
by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team
