What is happening?

GREEN LANES N13, PALMERSTON CRESCENT N13 – TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on the roads detailed in the heading to this notice, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Enfield (Green Lanes N13, Palmerston Crescent N13) (No.1) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2025, under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order would be to temporarily restrict traffic, as and when directed by traffic signs, and as detailed in the streets specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice.
The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services’ vehicles.
The prohibitions would operate during the times and on the dates specified in column 2 of the Schedule in each case and would continue until the works are completed.
Whilst the prohibitions are in force, the alternative routes for diverted vehicles would be as stated in column 3 in each case. Access would be maintained for residents only as far as the works allow.

Green Lanes N13 Waiting and Loading restrictions – From a point outside No. 217 for approx. 20m to outside No. 237	3rd November 2025 "at any time" for 16 days or until works are completed.	N/A

Green Lanes N13 Southbound bus lane suspension from its junction with Ecclesbourne Gardens for approx. 55m	11th November 2025 for 8 days or until works are completed.	N/A

Palmerston Crescent N13 Road closure at its junction with Green Lanes	19th November 2025 for 11 days or until works are completed.	Palmerston Crescent, Elmdale Road, A105 Green Lanes N13 and vice versa.

Green Lanes N13 Cycle lane closure at its junction with Palmerston Crescent, northbound for approx. 140m	19th November 2025 for 24 days or until works are completed.	Cyclists would be required to dismount and walk for the length of the cycle lane closure or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.

Green Lanes N13 Northbound cycle lane closure at its junction with Broomfield Lane	5th January 2026 for 15 days or until works are completed.	Cyclists would be required to dismount and walk for the length of the cycle lane closure or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.
