What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(B3430 NINE MILE RIDE, WOKINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

a) B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham in both directions between the roundabout with Old Wokingham Road and South Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Old Wokingham Road, B3348 Bracknell Road, A3095 Foresters Way and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the developer carries out resurfacing of the carriageway.

The Order came into operation on the 27th October 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the closure will be in place until 29th October 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
