(SWAN LANE, SANDHURST)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Swan Lane, Sandhurst in both directions between the junctions of Goughs Meadow and Vulcans Way.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Swan Lane, Darby Green Lane, Darby Green Road, B327 Reading Road, A30 London Road, A321 Marshall Road, A321 Yorktown Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Southern Gas Network renew the gas mains in the carriageway.
The Order came into operation on the 20th October 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the closure will be in place until 19th December 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
