What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
WHARTONS LANE, ASHURST & COLBURY,
NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
That part of Whartons Lane between its junction with Chestnut Drive and its junction with Whartons Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Foxhills, Knellers Lane, A326 Totton Western Bypass, A35 Main Road, A35 Hunters Hill.
DURATION OF ORDER:
From Monday 3rd November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Aeropark Developments Ltd to complete new foul sewer connection. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact:
