What is happening?

November 2025. (Simpson Street Area) (Temporary
Prohibition of Driving) Order 2025.
Notice is hereby given that the Council has made the
above-mentioned Order under Section 14 of The Road
Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, to prohibit any vehicle
from proceeding:- (a) along Simpson Street, L1, from
its junction with Bridgewater Street to its junction with
Watkinson Street; (b) along Watkinson Street, L1, from its
junction with Simpson Street for a distance of 12m in northeasterly direction; & (c) in a southwesterly direction along
Bridgewater Street, L1, from a point 22m northeast of its
junction with Simpson Street to its junction with Simpson
Street, from the 1 December 2025 to the 2 January
2026, or for such a lesser period of time as dictated by
the early completion of the works which are to safely
enable on-going development works to be carried out.
A signed diversion will be erected for the duration of the
works.
