What is happening?

WHEN: 27 November 2025 to 21 May 2026.
WHERE: Close the footpath for approx. 18m between
SK20625 64034 and SK20644 64031.
REASON: To facilitate public safety due to
collapsed wall.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From Main Street travel east. Take
the first right down Bankside and follow the road until you
meet footpath No.33. This will meet footpath No.32.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,
on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open
as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than
advertised. Anyone needing further information should
ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council
has made an order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by
