DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE COKAYNE AVENUE, ASHBOURNE
What is happening?
WHEN: 24 November to 27 November 2025 (3 nights
between 19:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Cokayne Avenue, Ashbourne between Jct. with
B5035 The Green Road Jct. and Jct. with Hall Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5035 The Green Road,
Ashbourne Green, Dam Wall Road, Dog Lane, A517,
Belper Road, Park Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,
on the affected length of road. The road will re- open as
soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than
advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring

intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its
