OLDHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL THE OLDHAM - CROMFORD STREET TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025
What is happening?
The Oldham Borough Council on 17 th November
2025 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which
is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of
Cromford Street between Yates Street and Acton Street.
The alternative route is via Acton Street & Acre Lane.
The Order is to be made to allow manhole works and will
be in force for 2 weeks from 24th November 2025, or until
the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
A copy of the Order may be examined at my office between
the hours of 8.40am and 5.00pm on Monday to Friday Civic
