DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY RESTRICTED BYWAY CLOSURERESTRICTED BYWAY NO.70 (PART) CRICH
What is happening?
WHEN: 24 November to 18 December 2025.
WHERE: Close restricted byway No.70 for approx. 110m from where Top Hagg Lane meets Chadwick Nick Lane.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during gas main replacement works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No alternative route is recommended.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of restricted byway. The restricted byway will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council has made an order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
