TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for carriageway patching works.

The said roads are expected to be closed from 31st October 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 31st August 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C265 ST STEPHENS TO BATH ROAD, THE CROSS (NYMPSFIELD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C265 St Stephens to Bath Road, The Cross from its junction with Bath Road to its junction with Front Street for a distance of approximately 200 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Maintenance/repair of telecommunications mast.

The said road is expected to be closed from 27th October 2025 to 29th October 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C226 (EASTINGTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C226 as described in the schedule below;

The reason for the said closure is for overhead electricity cable works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 09:00hrs on 27th October 2025 until 18:00hrs on 28th October 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is to repair wastewater pipework by Severn Trent Water.

The reason for the said closure is for mains sewer connection works.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 27th October 2025 until 2nd November 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for reconstruction works to a damaged retaining wall.

The said road is expected to be closed from 27th October 2025 until 21st November 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for telecommunications works involving using a crane.

The said road is expected to be closed from 20:00hrs on 29th October 2025 until 05:00hrs on 30th October 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (30 & 40 MPH SPEED LIMITS) (B4066, TAITS HILL & TAITS HILL ROAD) (PARISH OF STINCHCOMBE) (STROUD DISTRICT) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Sections 82 & 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above-named Orders with the effect of which will be:

  1. To introduce the speed limits detailed in the schedules below; and

  2. To rectify anomalies between the existing 30mph speed limit Traffic Order and the on-site situation on Taits Hill Road & Taits Hill by revoking the existing Traffic Order and introducing a 30mph speed limit by virtue of street lighting (where there is street lighting) and by Traffic Order as detailed in Schedule 1 below (where there is no streetlighting) along Taits Hill Road & Taits Hill.

The Order shall come into effect on 31st October 2025.
