DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE STANTON ROAD, ASHBOURNE
What is happening?
WHEN: 18 November 2025 (between 08:00 to 16:00).
WHERE: Stanton Road, Ashbourne between No. 31 and
No. 33.
REASON: To facilitate repair to manhole frame and cover.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stanton Road, Cavendish Drive,
Derby Road, Blenheim Road and vice versa. Access will be
maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected
length of road. The road will re- open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone
needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire
on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make
an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic. Julian
