DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHURCH STREET, MELBOURNE
What is happening?
WHEN: 18 November to 21 November 2025 (from 08:00
to 18:00 each day)
WHERE: Church Street, Melbourne between its Jct. with
Pool Road and its Jct. with Sailsbury Lane.
REASON: To facilitate repair and maintenance of water
assets.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street, Market Place,
Derby Road, Chapel Street, Station Road, Castle Street
and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,
on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as
soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than
advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring
Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council
intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use
