DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A515 CLIFTON ROAD, ASHBOURNE
What is happening?
WHEN: 06 November to 07 November 2025 (Overnight
closure between 20:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Clifton Road, Ashbourne at No. 24, between Jct.
with North Leys and Jct. with Leisure Way.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to manhole cover and frame.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A515 Clifton Road, A52 By Pass,
A52 Derby Road, A515 Station Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,
on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as
soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than
advertised. Anyone needing further information should
ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County
Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its
