PUBLIC NOTICE

THE COUNTY OF PEMBROKE (UNCLASSIFIED (U3141) FFORDD BEDD MORRIS AND UNCLASSIFIED (U3142) ROADS NR NEWPORT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The proposed Order is necessary so that Telecom underground and overhead cabling works can be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic other than exempted vehicles from proceeding along those sections of road identified in the schedule to this notice.

It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 10th November 2025 for approximately 15 working days between the hours of 09:30hrs–15:30hrs.

These works will be carried out on a rolling programme to minimise disruption. The alternative route for traffic will be determined and signed accordingly as works progress. Where no alternative route is available, access will be maintained subject to long delays.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Rhoddir HYSBYSIAD drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Penfro yn bwriadu, nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, gwneud gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.

Mae’r gorchymyn arfaethedig yn angenrheidiol fel y gellir gwneud gwaith gosod ceblau telathrebu o dan y ddaear ac uwchben.

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro bob traffig cerbydol heblaw am gerbydau esempt rhag mynd ar hyd y rhannau hynny o’r ffordd a nodir yn yr atodlen i’r hysbysiad hwn.

Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, a fydd yn cael eu dangos gan arwyddion ffyrdd yn unol â hynny, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun 10 Tachwedd 2025 am oddeutu 15 diwrnod gwaith rhwng 9.30am a 3.30pm

Bydd y gwaith yn cael ei wneud ar raglen dreigl er mwyn tarfu cyn lleied â phosibl. Bydd y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig yn cael ei bennu a’i ddangos ag arwyddion ffyrdd yn unol â hynny wrth i’r gwaith fynd yn ei flaen. Lle nad oes llwybr amgen ar gael, cynhelir mynediad ond bydd oedi hir.

Bydd y gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am uchafswm o 18 mis fel cynllun wrth gefn pe bai angen aildrefnu’r gwaith, neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
