o 03/11/25 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Rofda Alun, Yr Orsedd Goch rhwng y gyffordd tua’r gogledd â Lôn Harwood ac i’r gogledd o’r gyffordd â Llwyn Brandon am 368m, i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i osod prif bibell nwy newydd ar y lôn gerbydau. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan y cau yw trwy Lôn Harwood a Rho fda Alun a bydd arwyddion ffordd priodol yn unol â hynny. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am 30 diwrnod gwaith, neu nes cwblhau’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai barhau hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 03/11/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Alyn Drive, Rossett between its northerly junction with Harwoods Lane and north of its junction with Brandon Grove for a distance of 368m to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Harwoods Lane, and Alyn Drive, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 30 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
