NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make following orders:

(STRO01225) Cartwright Drive, West Swindon. This Order is being introduced for THAMES WATER and will impose a prohibition of driving on Cartwright Drive at the junction with Roughmoor Way. Traffic to be diverted via Roughmoor Way, Peatmoor Way, Mead Way and Shaw Road. The Order comes into force on the 30 October 2025 for 6 months, but works are expected to take place between 30 October to 2 November 2025.

(STRO01140) Bridport Road, Park South. This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Bridport Road, Park South. Traffic to be diverted via Whitbourne Avenue, Shaftesbury Avenue, Marlowe Avenue and Welcome Avenue. The Order comes into force on the 4 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on 4 to 6 November 2025.

(STRO01114) Casson Road and Bunce Road, Stratton. This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Cassson Road and Bunce Road. 1.7B. Access to be maintained. The Order comes into force on the 7 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on the 7 November 2025 for 1 day only.

(STRO01142) Chedworth Gate, Lawns. This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Chedworth Gate.

Access to be maintained. The Order comes into force on 10 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on 10 November 2025 for 1 day only.

(STRO01222 A361) Highworth Road, South Marston. This Order is being introduced for SBC HIGHWAY WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on A361 Highworth Road between Supermarine and Vickers Roundabout. Traffic to be diverted via A361 Highworth Road, B4019, Crickladeer Way, Bridge End Road and Swindon Road. The Order comes into force on the 5 December 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place overnight between 5 to 9 December 2025.

(STRO01150) Summer Street, Rodbourne. This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Summer Street, Rodbourne. Traffic to be diverted via Winsor Street, Hughes Street, Rodbourne Road and Summer Street. The Order comes into force on the 12 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on 17 November 2025 for 4 days only.

(STRO01217) Verwood Close, Park South, This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Verwood Close, Park South. Traffic to be diverted via Whitbourne Avenue, Shaftesbury Avenue, Marlowe Avenue and Welcome Avenue. The Order comes into force on the 31 October 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on the 31 October 2025 for 1 day.

(STRO01152) Bowood Road, Swindon This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving and parking on Bowood Road Access to be maintained. The Order comes into force on the 28 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on the 28 November 2025.

(STRO01151) Abbey View Road, Moredon This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving and parking on Abbey View Road, Moredon Access to be maintained. The Order comes into force on the 5 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place on the 5 November 2025.
