MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC146328413: The City of Manchester (Various Street, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic & No Waiting No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Various Streets within the vacinity of the Cenotaph. The alternative routes for traffic will be: signed locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Remembrance Sunday Parade. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 8th November 2025 to 9th November 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 14:00. The order shall come into operation on 8th November 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
