MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC146214047: The City of Manchester (The Grange , Moss Side Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrian traffic on The Grange , From Eileen grove west to its cul -de- sac- end The alternative routes for pedestrian traffic will be:N/A). The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Replacement gas mains . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 3rd November 2025 to 19th November 2025. The order shall come into operation on 3rd November 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of six months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
